    hooking up shift light

i just bought an autometer shift lite with the built in interchangable pills and all. its just the shift light and not a big ass tach. and i was wondering how to hook it up on our cars? i know you can run it straight to the distributor cap to something under there... well at least my friend did on his integra....but i dont know what wire to splice it to or what.

I'm not too sure, but I do know that if you install a MSD ignition w/ a MSD coil, there's an output for a shift light.

you can run the tach wire to the ecu and tap/splice/solder onto:

ecu harness plug D/ pin 11

its the blueish greenish lookin wire on the distributor closest to it just before the connectrs before it touched the harness itself.
