F22a6 parts swapped - engine drivability problems

Alright i'm stumped, i'm about ready to kick my cb7.

I swapped in my f22a1, w/ f22a6 manifolds, and ECU. it ran crappy at first. I retimed the valves, and replaced the distributor, and it ran like 85%, i was happy. Then it started crapping out again. The check engine light would flicker, and i can hear the main relay clicking, then the car would shut off.
Finally, it wouldn't even start yesterday. It would crank over, and the main relay would click like crazy, and the check engine light would flicker. so i took the main relay out, and checked it, everything was fine there.

I'm pretty confused at this point, I don't understand what it can be. Now even if it does start up, it runs like shit, and will stall out again without gas. I know this isn't a whole lot to go on for a diagnosis, but does anyone know what it might be? I checked all my connectors everything seems to be fine i'm not sure what it could be at this point. Check my members ride thread (linked in my sig) for the full list of mods to my car, get a better idea.

    thanks
    dan

ok sounds good, if it's not on there, or whatever, can i just run a new line? i noticed that the bracket that has the ignition coil on it is not tightened very well, i think i'm missing a bolt there.

alternator. i am going through the same thing, replacing it today.

Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD. You know you wanna hit it, but your afraid of the consequences.

i might give that a shot after i do the thermostat thing. i just swapped this engine in from a parts car, so i got extras of mostly everything.

what's really weird about it was that it ran fine for a little while, after originally running like complete shit, then it just started gradually running worse, and now it will hardly start at all. i may have jumped timing, but i don't think that would make the main relay click like it is. i'll check those couple of things out on monday when i get to work on it again, and i'll get back to u guys.
anything else i should check while i'm at it?

i've got my nitrous installed, and i'm really pumped to be able to try it, but the car has to run correctly reliably first.

i am willing to bet it ran fine cause the ground was touching, now its not and thats why it wont start. and if that ground is missing you cant jsut run a new line. that ground is the ground for the engine computer, and most sensors on the engine.

Actually the GROUNDS are the Most critical part of the WHOLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
If you really want to know why then read this, it may surprise a lot of people.
