    dis. coil?

    when can u tell if u need a distibitor or just the coil?

    no spark usually means no coil. get a haynes manual and volt meter and test them. make sure its a hayne, chilton sux 84-97 accords and preludes fuc that.:>
    91 Accord
    f20a engine swap
    cold air intake
    GReddy cat-back exhaust
    short shifter
    93 accord bumper

      If the wires/connectors to the coil check out fine and no spark is coming from the coil, and the igniter (ie. ignition module) is indeed working fine. There should be a primary and secondary resistance you can check out for the coil....if both check out and are in the tolerance, you should be okay.

            Unless you were getting a CEL code for the distributor, then you probably just paid WAY too much and got a poor quality igniter and coil. Most aftermarket coils and igniters suck ass. Definitely stay away from any igniters that have a black body.
