If I bought an AFC, do I need to get a "stock" ECU again for my engine such as a P39 or a PT2 or can I run it with the chipped P06 that I got now? I have an F20A DOHC engine.

AFAIK, you should be able to run it with the chipped ECU without any problems. All that the AFC does is monitor a few signals, modify the fuel delivery and in the case of the V-AFC, change the VTEC engagement and disengagement points.Originally posted by Junior SmurffNevermind guys, google search works wonders!

If you hook it up correctly and set it to a baseline map (ie; no fuel correction), it should run like it did without the AFC since it won't be doing anything other than monitoring the signals. I know mine does, but I'm running a stock P13 ECU. If you want definitive answers to your questions, install it and find out for sure.
