I bumped my ignition timing by about 2 degrees the other day to see what the result would be. Turns out the high end is decent, as expected. However, VTEC hits harder, and there's a definite bog around 3000rpm. I've felt it as low as 2800 and as high as 3200. It can be felt almost as a pulling sensation.
Now, I haven't replaced my cap and rotor... ever... since I got the motor. Could that be the problem? Or could it be something else? I plan on setting the timing back to stock tomorrow to be safe.
Also, I reset my ECU in hopes that would do something. No dice there.
