idle problem

my co-worker jose have a 93 accord lx, and his car idle bad, like the car would be just sitting there and it'll idle from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm by itself, what could be the problem? any advice?

search dude, vacuum leaks, throttle body gasket leaks, fast idle valve, iac valve, search dude

there are no leaks around that we could see

remove the cover for the fast idle valve ,2 phillip screws, tighten the inner valve with a screwdriver ,,reinstall cover and try it
