car wont start

i have a 90 4 door ex with jdm h22a, lsd trans, and so on.... lately i have had a problem with the fuel system. the tank had slight rust in it, so i changed the fuel system, tank, pump, rail, filter, and injectors. car ran great afterward, i mean never better. right???? wrong!!!!

the next day i go to start the car and the car just wont turn on, nothing electrical will go on. so i check the battery 12.78 volts, perfect. so i get back in the car and i put the key in and i hear this abnormal ticking noise coming from the center console area (???). then after about 3 minutes with the key in the ignition the car just turns on and everything is fine. car starts and drives great, EVEN AFTER TURNING IT ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES!

then today that same garbage happens, and this time it will not for the life of me turn on. the temperature lately has been extremely cold, so i didnt know if there was a problem with weather maybe. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

i have a msd sci with external coil, about 3 months old and works fine. i mean the engine wont even try to crank, the starter wont engage or anything. not the radio or lights or anything electrical.

it doesnt sound like its fuel related to me, sounds like ignition/electrical. is it an auto lsd??

no sir, 5 speed. im thinking maybe bad relay or ignition switch. but anything you guys can think of will be tried.

if you have any more questions about the setup or anything like that just ask. at this point id give up my pinky finger for this thing to run again.

well i would rule out fuses as the problem cause it didnt run, then it did, now it wont. a fuse doesnt come back to life. im gunna say ignition. check distributer cap for cracks, dizzy rotor to see if its burnt, plugs, wires, etc.

on the other hand i just re read ur post and u said nothing electrical works, check all ur battery cables and grounds. u said ur battery is fine so maybe its just not getting the power anywhere.
