Not that converting an Auto to a manual is a waste. it's not something comin with your Year. Plus the Manual transmission on those ... well just keep it an auto you will have the same amount of hold or even better then you would with that make and model Manual. Do something more constructive like raise the amount of AFR. If its a Carb. get the Efi. ect... don't waste the time and money on that, trust me.. I have seen this before. If you have a A20 carb. i think you can put the Ludes twin Carb on. I have heard speculations of using a certain mustangs supercharger in place of the carb system. but thats something I heard. <rumor Even I still don't believe.
If I was you! instead of putting all that time and money in that direction. Go crazier and put a small block V8 or something. chop it up and make it rear wheel drive.
