Do they make throttle body spacers for our cars? Is it worth it? Ive seen one for a 93. would that fit on an F22a6. 92

*Also does anyone have the link of the company or guys that bore throttle bodies?

not sure if it makes a big difference for our cb7s; and if you do get one, the 93 will fit the 92 f22a6.. same motor.

    here's the throttle body link:

Thank you, thank you, I know the TB's are interchangable but i didnt know about the spacer

Honestly(I Highly doubt it) but for the later Accord models it says something like an extra 15-25hp, I personaly think its BS though

          I know so.

          *Question about Maxbore.com
porting the intake manifold, is it good? Can i still use teh stock injectors?

or is it better to use a whole H23 intake setup over my F22A6? I think the bore on teh TB is 62mm

from what i know the only difference in the f22a6 and h23 IM is the upper plenum is bigger along with the throttle body. they both have dual runners. doing the IM up will help a lot with a smoother airflow. from what i hear the spacers do practically nothing for 4 cyl. better for 6s and 8s. i might be selling my h23 IM. its all taken apart tho.

sure, with a upgraded ignition and bolts on's, it should accomodate it well.

Sad part is.. i understood that abbreviation.. rofl...

throttle body spacers will see gains... on a fairly stock motor i cant say how much.. its like with the change from short ram intake to cold air.. if u eliminate the difference in temperature the only other variable is that of the piping length...

this applies with use of itbs... (easy example)... long runners for itbs = better mid-range/low end... short runners = top end peak power... so.. if ur adding a spacer to the TB.. thus ur making it further from the combustion chamber.. and in doing so.. gaining low end power... id say 2-4hp.. respectively more if u bored out the throttle body...

                        Praise The Lowered...

                          WOFTAM??? hhmm

it will fit even with the bored throttle body right?

After reading that they would be a WOFTAM on their own, would you really notice a 2-4 HP gain??

Then again a 2-4 HP Gain here and there will all add up down the track, hey??
