    H22 Busted Oil Pan!!

well, i searched OIL PAN, and the threads didnt really help, so i figured id ask the gurus.
my cb7 has a jdm h22 swap, the oilpan has a crack in it so im replacing it ASAP. my question is, will the stock oilpan for the 94 usdm h22 fit my motor and chassis combo with minimal to no alteration? Would i have to get the jdm one?

Also, will the oilpan off of another accord fit for me?
as always, your help is much appreciated guys, thanks in advance!

i'm pretty sure all h22/f22 (including h23) are interchangeable.

They should be all the same, I remember someone verifying this. But you dont need a JDM one.

I'm currently running my JDM H22a with a USDM F22a4 oil pan.

Yeah they are interchangleble....Adamn (Fast93Accord) is running a H22 Oil pan on his F22 motor. BTW, its good excuse to get a Moroso oil pan

Before you spend $160 on a new OEM oil pan (like I did for my old cb7), you can just have a shop weld the crack. They will drain it of all the oil, and weld it up.

doesn't the prelude use more oil than the accord? wouldn't the pan volumes be different affecting performance?

thanks h22sparkle but i still remain skeptical. i'm looking at a jdm h22 oil pan next to my f22a1 oil pan and the h22 looks a lot bigger in the middle section that goes over the header downpipe. maybe the f22a6 has the same pan as the h22 ? i just want to make sure. what about the oil pickup? does it have to be changed to compensate?

I just got my h22a and the threads are messed on the oil pan I don't know what the hell those guys did but both the bolt threads and the pan threads are messed so I am also wondering If I can throw on my f22 oil pan without a problem.
