You should purchase a Haynes or Helms manual for your Accord. It will come in handy time and time again. So seriously consider it.

On another note, there are many seals to an engine and your question is vague. I "think" you are trying to find out what you need to do a balancer shaft seal replacement and want to install that seal retainer. Make it a habit to CLEARLY state your questions from now on...because if you show me and others total laziness in how you ask it and expect a good answer(s), then you are out of your mind. I will delete all posts like this from now on and this doesn't pertain to just you, many do this.

Anyhow, to help you (I think)...

On 90-97 Accords the balancer shaft seal on the radiator-side of the engine has been known to walk-out in time. Honda came out with a fix (balance shaft seal retainer) that uses an exisiting screw to clamp it down and keeps the seal from walking out. Anyhow, it's only a few bucks for ONE retainer and it comes with a new oil dipstick O-ring (get it from local Honda dealer). Get ONE new balance shaft seal as well.

Now, if you are close to a timing belt change, I would do the whole timing belt package, new water pump and replace any of the front engine seals that need replacing at the same time while you are there.

Questions answered, PM me if you have any more. Thread closed.
