That's right, bout 11 at night and my engine decides it doesn't like me any more and wants to start pounding away, sounds like rod bearings. So Hey I'll do a DYI on replacing your bearings if it turns out to be that when I drop the pan off! Stay tuned for updates.

Premature oil change..... That would be the first time I've ever heard of clean oil causing your rod bearings to go :P But the pan is off and the verdict is #4 piston rod bearings are toast! Yay, what caused it? Nothing specific from what I can see, it was simply their time to go. I just picked up an f22a4 for 200 bucks from a buddy so I'll be swapping that in to rebuild this engine and build it for boost, The project has started! Tis a shame it had to start this way but hey motive is motive.
