    leak,leak,leak

I have leaks everywhere it seems like. I know i have atleast one oil and one antifreeze leak. I got under my car today and looked and i noticed there was liquid everywhere. all over the underside of my motor, all over my fenderwells. its oil and antifreeze. my question is how should i start fixing it? Im not even sure where its all coming from because theres so much of it. I cleaned some of it off hoping that i could tell wher it was coming from, but it didnt work well. would my best bet be to replace my valve cover gasket and go from there? i mean theres liquid on by drivers fenderwell all the way over by my battery. and i still cant tell where its coming from, i even had a couple of friends come over and i cant find it still. so should i replace the valve cover gasket first? or should i try to wipe it all down and go from there? or something else?

    kevin.

Not to be a jerk, but are you sure it's oil and antifreeze? There's plenty of other fluids in there as well. Windshield washer fluid drains off the windshield to just behind the front driver's side tire, and can easily be mistaken for a fluid leak.
If it is indeed a coolant leak, let the engine get up to temp, and you should be able to see it boiling out somewhere. Oil leaks are always trickier to find, but I'd definitely recomment locating the leak before you begin changing seals at random.
There was a thread recently about engine bay cleaning... I'd check that out and use the tips there to clean everything up. Finding the leak should be easier afterwards.
I swear, eventually I'll run out of things to break.

yea im sure its oil and antifreeze, the antifreeze was green all on my driveway, and down on the bottom of my motor its oil because i smell it. and i dont have a windsheild wiper container anymore either. i guess i will just have to clean everything else up

i let my car warm up and i turned it off and heard a bunch of air or soemthing seeping out, and then it sounded like something closed up... it must be a hose somewhere i just cant find it anywhere(the antifreeze) also when i let my car run it leaks.

Check the back and bottom of the radiator while it's running. Radiator leaks can be pretty hard to spot, unless you can see the fluid bubbling out. The only other somewhat-hard-to-find place I can think of for antifreeze is around back of the engine where the thermostat is loacted, but I'm assuming you've already checked there.
