    You might also try graphite spray lube. I think that's what a Honda tech used on mine once. Either way, it's likely only a temporary fix --- once the rubber channel gets dry the problem will come back.

      If you are a mountain biker try this stuff call Pedro's Ice Wax. It is used to lube up the chain an dries with no oily residue. I use this on my honda and it has been working flawlessly since. You should be able to purchase this stuff at any reputable bicycle shop.
