    vehicle speed sensor

hey i got a jdm h22 with an f-series trans in my car, now ever since i had the swap done the speedo sensor will not work, now i know this has been covered alot, but i have since that point tried 3 different sensors and not one has worked, however, the one i tried will work when i first start my car and its cold, the speedo doesnt work, but theres no cel and it lets vtec hit, but then after about 15-20 minutes of driving the cel comes on and vtec wont engage, now my only thought is that maybe a wire has a slit or something in it?? i cant see anything wrong with the wires, but its real hard to get too, tucked away under thermostat, but im going to try to look for some kind of problems in the wires tommorow

but could this possibly cause this problem? has anyone else ran into this? any input?

make sure none of the wires are getting pinched. i had a similar problem earlier this year where i went and bought a new VSS.. even after the new VSS, still wasn't working. i realized that the wires from the harness was somewhat tangled near my shifter cables. after loosening it up, problem solved; didn't even need the new VSS.

just letting you guys know what the problem was, it was the plug on my harness, i took the plug from the h22 harness, spliced it on and now it works like a champ
