    Fan?

I've got a 90 EXR and I have a very strange problem with the fan. When I turn the car off, the fan keeps running. And it doesn't stop. If you disconnect and reconnect the battery overnight, the fan still runs. Some of my friends thought it might be a fan relay.. but I'm not sure. What do you think it could be?

Its normal does it stay on throughout the whole night or just after you drive it? its normal after you drive it for a while or have it running for a long time. Its supposed to cool the car when it shuts off

      BUMP

My fan does this also. It used to kill the battery in fack! So I had to disconnect the battery when I turned the car off for anymore than 30 minutes. That got to be a pain in the toosh so I got a new Decka battery. The problem stopped for a while (since spring maybe?) but it has begun this past week. It killed my car at the gym - I was very upset about that. So yes bump for info?

I have the same problem. I haven't figured out which part in the system is the culprit. This is what I have done so far.

tested both of the switches. One is mounted by the thermostat, the other os mounted about a foot forward of the 1st. I tested the relay in the main fuse box, located there in the back passanger side corner under the hood (look at the digram on the cover for which one it is). The only thing left is the computer part of this system which I can't remember the name of, but it's mounted behind the dash on the passanger side.
It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.
