    IAB Solenoid Valve

Hey, my IAB's haven't worked for quite some time so today I finally took the box down and looked at it, and my solenoid valve is quite cracked and I can't take the solenoid out of the vacuum tank..... So... I was wondering if anyone on here has one with the tank for sale, or if anyone knows where I can get one cheap, cause they are like $140 with the tank from Honda....
P.S. I also live in PA now, and junkyards seem to be sparse around here, if anyone knows where one is in close relation to pottstown, pa, please lemme know!

just run a vacuum line from the iab actuator to a spare vacuum fitting on the intake manifold(usually on the back of the intake manifold); the iabs will open/close along w/ vacuum.

The solenoid has one screw attaching it to the tank. I removed mine because it was broke. Then I hit up the local junkyard and bought like 3 more. Screwed the new one on and I was good to go. Now your turn.

The problem is that screw wouldn't budge and is currently stripped I need a tank as well.... I tried that straight to the manifold, and they dont open at all or enough (don't have a long enough vacuum line to hook my tester up and read it under engine load while driving...) my top end sucks with it like that, top end actually dissapears.... so I'm just gonna continue driving it until I can get one of those things... probably just get a solenoid and ditch the tank....(I can do that right?)
Accordaffair, you down for shipping me one of your extra solenoids?

Well, you would have to get your old one off first.

Same thing that happened to you happened to me as well. What I did was went to my mech.'s shop and he used an impact screwdriver to break it free.

But, I can if it comes to it.
