does anyone here know of any performance modifications for an auto transmission other than swapping to manual, using a higher stall torque converter, or a trans cooler. i have heard of some maxima people modding the trasmission control module so that the pressure of the fluid is at max to shift as hard a firmly as possible. dont know if there is anyone here who has done anything like that with the accord transmissions. i am interested in turboing my accord but i want to either swap to manual or do something to increase the performance of the auto trans.

If you want to make it "shift" harder you have to alter the pressures inside the trans. The TCU is just there to tell the tcu to shift and what not.
