alternator install

how hard is it to install an alternator,i have to get it out first,is it hard??i dont want to fuck up the belts,what tools do i need to replace it?i have to go have it tested tommorrow.i unhooked the battery while the car was running and it did not die,but the voltage was below 13,and i dont know what else it could be,so i need to know how to replace the alternator.thanks

has anyone eve takin out there alternator?is it hard i need the how to,because i have to have it tested tommorrow.i will invest in a haynes manual when i get some loot

Yo uhhh unbolt the bar thats hangin on the altenator on th engine itself to free it up off of it. Then let it roll down u have to loosen the bracket. And then the pivot bolt. The pivot bolt is the one bolt above the altenator belt then the adjustment one is on the bottom of the altenator
