Possible CAI Problem...

I have a small problem...

My car is acting funny, I don't know if the Tranny is slipping.
It catches every Gear and down-shifts fine, but ever since i put my CAI
with Bypass Valve my car is not quick as it was before.

I think personally its my Bypass resisting the Air Flow to the Engine.
At times i would press the gas and nothing, but out of nowhere
WOOSH!! the car is out like a Bullet...

Any insights on this?

is it auto?or stick?

make sure things are TIGHT, no loose spots or miss clamps..
alos try reset ecu?

I dont think its the bypass valve... go back and check all the connections

check ur kick down cable off ur throttle body mine break and my car was actin funny

if you really think it's cold air/bypass then switch it over to short ram style for awhile and see if it works better.
