everyones saying they get like 400 miles on a tank...i get 300 treating it pretty good! all highway is a little better but nothing like it should be getting

I replaced the fuel filter i think 6 monthes ago...what else could i check out??

EGR ports could be plugged. That can mess it up.

dont feel bad, i get 270...i donno, imma have to test my o2 sensors, fuel pressure regulator...those are the 2 things i have not checke.d

people around here are gettin 400 ?! damn the most ive pushed to is 310 with the fuel light on and freaked out that i wouldnt make it to a gas station

check your spark plugs, if theyre not firing properly it'll affect your mileage quite a bit

What gas do you use. I wanted to ask this before on the other thread but never did. I go to mobile and tried both the 87 and the 89 octane. I barely hit 300. Once i hit the halfway mark, it just shoots down.

using 87 lately...oh hint on gas mileage: if your daily driving consists of shifts above 3000 rpm then your gas mileage is your own fault, slow it down and take it easy

I can achieve 600kms(372 miles) on a full tank of gas on mine..maybe coz i dont go pass 3.5k rpm on normal driving..

I average around 380 on a full tank with a mix of freeway/city driving...I'm usually at about 180-200 miles before it the needle starts dipping below the mid point.

Most I've gotten was about ~425 miles all freeway going to Seattle...and the car started sputtering so 425 seems to be my limit.

I get about 220 with city driving. I will have to back off on the above 3k shifts.

You think if I swap my fuel filter I will be able to get some better mileage?

and what does the egr cap do to benefit your car?
