heya dude.....i personaly think it is worth it....i just got the basic SCO ground wire kit ($50)and i saw a noticable difference. this stabilzer should do the trick plus, those rinky dinky 16gauge wires are probably all corroded and crap. u really can't go wrong IMO. i was going to get this product but was short on money so i went the cheaper route best of luck!

WTF... should I ask how much it is?

A grounding kit with 4ga. wire is kinda helpful, but something like that.. im sure its a waste of money since it doesnt look cheap.

Im sure it might make a difference on a higher end car, but on our cars, you wont notice a difference.

How does that kit work exactly? Is there something special about it rather than upgrading your current grounds?

I am in the process of upgrading all my grounds with some 8 gauge wire....and lots of it since i am out of 4 gauge.

Seriously, is it worth investing $100 on a grounding stabilizer? Anyone have any testimonies?

personally, i think it's only worth it if you are running things that use up LOTS of power. fore example, if you're packing subs, amps, speakers, HU other than stock, cams, and other such mods, i would suggest a high quality grounding stabilizer. since i don't have a bunch of energy sucking mods, i went for a little cheaper route. i bought 4 gauge wire and connectors for about $30 shipped to my door. i cut them up and connected key grounding points. there's a few pics on the board of good grounding points to focus on. hope this helps

Would a grounding stabilizer help keep volts up with the AC on at idle? I notice at night mainly and sometimes during the day, my voltage will creep down to as low as 12V during the day and 10.5 volts during the night with the AC on at idle. Or does that have to do with my alternator?

Does the voltage stablizer work like grounding wires? So basically it'd be pick one or another?

no direct experience but apex-i is a good brand..

either u do it, or don't do it at all. for me i wouldn't drop that on my cb7. but if u have the $$$ and plan to keep ur car down the next few years why not?? a ground is important so don't underestimate it.
