    people with c/f trunks

    to those guys with cf trunks.. are you guys experiencing exhaust fumes gettin inside the cabin of your car?

    i have that problem i think.. im just wundering if anyone else is also.

    they make a cf trunk for the 4th gen??? what brand, where did you buy it...? how much? pics?

            yea, i do have that same problem. i dont know if its the trunk or an exhaust leak, but everytime i floor it, the fumes are more intense. it doesn't really matter though to me, i just hope nobody rear ends my car!

              if you think about it, no exhuast pipes or anything go into yoru trunk, so the trunk would have no reaction whatsoever with the fumes gettin inside your car, you have an exhaust leak, or maybe your exhaust is goin out the back then into your trunk, BUT it owuld only do that in idle otherwise the wind woudl push it backwards

                        i did some work to the car today and cut out alot of the fumes. its still there a little bit though. joey posted somewhere about how its probably because the trunk isnt as heavy as oem metal and the tail lights dont seal up right. makes sense to me. i was going to try to seal up the tails better and see what happens.

                            i dont think fumes would come from the trunk since i also have my back seats...and i think those should pretty much contain the smell in the trunk anyway..
