well i dont know alot about front seals but are you sure you didnt hit anything too hard get under the car spray some degreaser under there spray it off let it dry out and do it again. Then start up the car and let it run for a while I had a prolem like this before it turned out one time to be that the oil drain plug was loose the other the oil filter had a small tiny pinhole in it there can be a number of things bro. Goodluck

if its the one i'm thinking of then its like a $5 job...but it'll take about 2-4 hours, just buy a haynes manual. You'll have to take off the crankshaft cover, timing belt cover, and loosen the balance shaft belt. The seal your going after is the camshaft balancer...or atleast thats what i think its called. If i'm thinking of what your talking about then it should be the farthest gear to the right when looking at th camgear side of the engine.

Damn, lost another one to DSM...

All I need is a bunch of stupid shit that probably wouldn't be worth your time to remove... if it's in good shape. I'll get a list together and PM you, perhaps.

well ya know, fixing up a honda takes heart and dedication... i guess some people prefer buying cheap old pos's w/ awd. but i prefer quality over quantity.

why do you think people are jockin the evo... fast and CHEAP.

I know right, i'd rather start from the bottom. I mean sure anyol joe smoe can buy a fast car from the factory, That shows everybody nothing. But hey good look with your new car.

watch your subject titles please, it helps to have a good one about your situation so that people who search in the future can find it easilly...also if u can link to the post that you were talking about the problem or something would help others too cause i dont remember anything. hehe

                        thanks.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

What a waste... It's probably just the balancer shaft seal. Just replace it and the timing belt and it'll probably be fine. Why go and buy another car for that?

if u wanna send me that oil pan then pm me. What i do find funny tho is that he buys a dsm so he doesn't have to fix anything on the car...is that not an oxymoron in itself LMFAO. You'll be begging for the accord back when your dsm starts riding the metal pony.
