Definitely get one you dont want that shit being compressed and all to shoot you in the chest or slingshot you in the eye that shit will hurt and will probably knock you unconsious. That spring is compressed really right and you have to do the same shit when you go to install it aswell.

i agree here. you really don't need it.

[the following is my way; i'm not repsonsible for your actions!] all i do is remove the stock suspension, place it in the grass, position my removed tire behind the lower end of the strut, and begin to SLOWLY remove the perch nut. when i see the nut is almost out, i step on the spring (staying clear of the front end of the strut) and continue to turn SLOWLY until the whole strut/spring POPS out. now the force is not that hard (the grass helps absorb it) but if the nut or anything else flies in the air, it can still do some damage. make sure to keep track of the order of the parts as they fly off sometimes.

you will need a compressor to return the STOCK spring, but for the teins or any other spring, no compression is necessay (b/c the height is shorter) but if you do need to, you can compress it with your hands.

[again i'm not repsonsible for your actions!]

Spring compressors can be rented for free. You buy it and they let you return it at any time.

shoulda stayed with coilovers then because springs will never be able to "slam" your car.
i think the sprint extreme's are the lowest ive seen for springs.
