I have a 1990 accord ex..and the engine code is f22a1...shouldnt it be f22a4 i though the a1 was only in the lx dx model...or im i wrong..sorry new to this whole accord thing...i know theres a way to check ur engine serial with the vin to see if they match up but i dont know how to do that..so if someone can help me out with that too...I also search but it doesnt really say if the f22a4 only came in ex and f22a1 only in dx lx...it just say its for 90-93 accord

F22a4 - 90-91 EX
F22a6 - 91 SE, 92-93 EX, SE
Your car should have an F22a4, not the F22a1 -
