Yea, that's how my suspension reacts when you're on the edge pushing it around corners. In fact, I've kicked out the rear-end a bit. With the Progress rear sway bar I have, you could kick the rear-end around if you wanted to.

Use 1/2" breaker bar if you just have handtools. Use impact gun if you got it. Is you deal with rust, I'd shoot some rust penetrate before hitting it.

That's my question too... I got a 3 pack w/upper bars too but I haven't put in the lower rear yet. Do you have to jack the car up to put the tie bar on?

Thanks for the picture; very clear about where it needs to go. I've just got a couple more questions so I know what to expect when I do this.

Do the Lower Control Arms move much when you take the bolt out and is it hard to get the bolt back in? I assume you want to jack up the entire backend rather than just one wheel?

On a side note, searching this forum for "tie bar" sucks because both words are too short and "strut bar" returns threads about the struts (since bar is too short). I'm glad I stumbled on this thread.

the lower control arms on my CB7 didn't appear to move much when the bolt was removed but when re-installing the bolt i had to use the jack to get the holes to line up..then with a few taps of the hammer the bolt slid right back through...yes i jacked up the entire rear end...and always be safe when working under a car use jack stands

Nothing will move, no worries, especially since you only need to take the nuts off, but I even took the bolts out and still nothing moved. It's a bitch with a ratchet, but I couldn't jack it up enough to get something better up there because I didn't have tall enough blocks and don't have jack stands. Same as one of these other guys, I have mine because it came with my other two. $80 for all three
