My 93 Honda Accord EX Automatic 4door (just recently purchased), has a mind of its own.
1) I'll get her started and sometimes I cant. I drained and replaced all the fluids, replaced the oil, added fuel injector cleaner. Next I am going to work on a tune up, replace spark plugs, intake fliter all that good stuff. But what I cant understand is sometimes it will start and sometimes it wont. Anyone have any advice on this issue??
2) I have also have a problem when the car is in [P] park, the rpms will go up and down and the car will make a reving sound, same sound when you rev the engine (this problem happens when I get the car started). I took off the air intake and found out that the Fast Idle Themro Valve (FITV) is sucking in air on the little hole. I put my finger over the hole and it almost sucks my finger in, I herd that this isnt supposed to be doing that. Could someone give me a step by step on how to take that out safely??? I need to push the valve back because it is pushed out to far and possibly clean off the rings and reset them.
I am a noob to the CB7 4th Gen Hondas, please bare with me, and I probly will have alot of questions. Or maybe a link that can help my troubleshot my problems with step by step "do it yourself" kinda deal.
