where to get "tappet" and tappet adjuster (valve adjust question)

To you guys who've done valve adjustments...where did you buy/get your tappet wrench and tappet adjuster?

    Thanks

If the H22 is the same as the H23, you won't need one, just a flat head screwdriver, and I think it was a 12mm box end wrench.

I can't get a box end wrench in there...I'm not sure about the H23, but my motor is a duel overhead cam. Basicly, the adjusting nuts are deep inside the head, not accesable by a normal box end wrench.

it would be more of pain in the ass and more w3rk but couldnt you at least get a socket around the nut and basically loosen up the screw slightly to compensate for tightening up the nut so it doesnt over tighten the screw for propper valve lash.... not very conventional but it would w3rk.... at least if the nut is in the same position as it is in my F22A cyl. heads....

the dohc motors are set up completely different from the sohc, so no, a socket is way outta the question..

Yeah, I found your other thread on this where you were asking how to do valve lash on it, it's totally different. I didn't do it on my F22, but that looked complicated as hell, the pics on the H22 ones looks more pain in the ass than difficult, but it was easy on my H23... guess I should be glad I chose that head...
