where to put feeler gauge in DOCH for valve adjustment

    where to put feeler gauge in DOCH for valve adjustment

    Hello,

    I took my valve cover off today because i'm was gonna adjust my vavles. I found the screw and locking nut...but I can't seem to fit my feeler gauge down there between the vavle stem and then tip of the screw like the diagrams said beacause the head caseing goes up too high...it's not like the SOHC at all.

    I'm really confused, could someone show me a diagram or a picture of where I'm suposed to put the feeler gauge.

    So, to anyone who has adjusted the vavles on the H22, any assistance here would be great.

    I know the first time I went to do the h22 i was like WTF

      Woah, great DIY. One question though, according to the HELMS book, it says set each piston you are working on to TDC. When I did this, the lobes on both valves were fully down, therefore pressing on the rocker arm, and I couldn't get my gauge in...Unless I went for the middle lobe (the one between the two valves left and right).

      Am I donig something wrong here?

          curb feelers

          I usually put the front feelers in front of the wheels and the back one behind the wheels.

          I actually saw them on a CB7 once. Bling, bling baby.
          It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.
