    i am assuming you have an auto. i strongly recomend Honda ATF, as well as other fluids made by honda for hondas. later.

      not sure if a FLUSH would be good..

      but HONDA ATF from ATs
      oil filters, AMSOIL OIL FILTERS are good !!!.. avoid FRAM
      oil = castrol

        Take a good look at any new Honda oil filter you may buy.

        Honda used to have their filters made my FILTECH = good stuff; it'll actually say Filtech on it somewhere.

        Sometime in 2005 they switched to I believe Fram or something and they are crap. Inside they look just like a cheap-ass Fram.

        I'll update this later if I can get exact part numbers. In the meantime you might look for BOSCH; they are often made by FILTECH (again, somewhere it'll say Filtech on it.)

        I'm not claiming that FILTECH is "the best", only that they are a very safe bet and that Honda filters aren't necessarily. Just remember that Honda doesn't make oil filters --- they have suppliers!

          I've always used Honda filters and trans fluid in my car. I'm an OEM Honda part fanatic.

            That's usually my preference as well. Unfortunately, being a fanatic can sometimes be a bad idea.
