I am getting ready to put my H22A in and am finishing up the water pump, seals, timing belts, etc replacement. The only problem I am having is I can't get the oil pump to line up correctly with it's mark. Everything else is good. The oil pump is lined up, until I adjust the tensioner and the oil pump pulley moves to the right. Is this okay? I was thinking maybe it was just supposed to line up before the tension is put on it. If I move the pulley to the right of the timing mark so I can get the teeth to line up with the belt then put tension on it it is still too far to the right of the timing mark.
Can anyone help me out real quick? This is pretty much all I have to do before I drop it in.
