Sounds like a good plan! I'll have to check out your T/B at the CT meet (shameless plug!)! Good luck w/ everything

Oh, while you're at it, you could (if you want to) bypass that T/B coolant line that you mentioned, that'll help alittle bit keeping that area of the IM cooler. Just a thought while those lines were apart

Yeah, I know what you mean! When I put on my H23 upper plenum (FIV is on T/B, shared w/ T/B warmer) I will put a shut off valve to the FIV so I can block the coolant to it during the summer, and in the colder weather open the valve to the FIV/ T/B warmer.

^Thanks to HondaFan81 for that valve idea-he is a genious I tell you

If you dont wanna buy silicon just to scrap it all off later on, just bolt it together without the gasket and it will be fine until you get your new gasket on, I had the same problem when I cleaned my tb then was puttin it back together and I got a iratic idle like you so I just bolted it without the gasket and it ran perfect.

get a piece of cardboard that isn't corrogated, set it on the back of the throttle body, and take a ball peen hammer and tap all over the place on it. The edges of the TB will cut away the open areas and leave you with a free gasket. You can do the same thing all over the intake manifold, but I wouldn't for the one between the runners and the head. If you're really broke you could, but put a layer of silicone over the coolant port.

k so its in and i can really feel a difference. big time low end tourque and high rpms and pulling harder now. but when its at idle it still bounces around. the gasket was kinda weird going on. it wasnt all flush against the intake manifold. i didnt use the sillicone but im thinking i should do that now cause it still seems like its not sealed
