It could be a lot of things. You should be more specific. Does the car run badly under any other circumstances? How many miles on your car?

could be a vacume leak...if your revs drop like a rock when you put on the brakes, thats probably your problem. check all your lines coming from your intake, see if there is a leak.

check your spark plugs and wires that can easly cause the problem if you have a bad plug or if a wire is not on all the way

while ur at the sparks, inspect the rotor, and the distribitor. and the wires.

im thinking vacumnn as well...any codes?

my car did that when my MAP vacumn came off...it ran like shit...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

In that case, I have to agree that it's a vacuum problem. Either one of your hoses is disconnected, hooked up wrong, or broken. Just look at the vacuum diagram and go through and check all the hoses.

Um... Any of the little black hoses in the engine compartment (without clamps on the ends) should be vacuum lines. Any of them could be leaking. An easy way to find the leak (if there is one) is to spray carburetor cleaner on the hoses and listen for when the idle speed increases.

well, my mechanic said that my problem was that oil was getting into my spark plugs and after it would heat up it would cause me to lose power and the car die down...so try checking if there's any oil in the sprk plugs...im changing the plugs along with the seals and the valve cover gasket...hope this helps

Could it be a dirty or bad Idle Motor (IAC)??? Mine used to idle real low and rough... cleaned the IAC, and it's all better now...
