ecu question??!!

ok i have an ecu...no shit. there is the back up fuse in the engine. yet i never knew i had a fuse inside the car. there was never one there in the first place and the car was fine.

after i put a fuse in it was fine. i decided to take it out to see if it still works and then it dont at all..the battery indicator doesnt come on and then the car wont start.

so now im stuck with the fuse being down there..

question. why is this...it worked fine before..but not now?

maybe this is why i got bad gas milage....their wasnt really a fuse there so it went into limp mode or something??

hahahah yea man thats shit. i was testing voltage and found it in there, so i put a fuse in it then my S light started to blink out...im like fuk i shorted my ECU again...but then after a restart it was fine.

thats where im thinking to do a cut off anti theft instead of the fuel line.

hella shit tripped yesterday, this 5th gen i worked on was wacked.
