    :wtf: I've checked the DIY. Replaced the distibutor, main relay...
    fuse #28, fuse #2 are both good....still no spark and no fuel...
    Ya know, I used to do this for a living and can't help but think I'm missing something really stupid. Again all fuses are good, circuit breakers O.K....
    I can jumper the main relay connex and power up the fuel pump.....
    I wonder if it has anything to do with the alarm system but that appears to be functioning fine....... Suggestions and criticism greatly appreciated.... Thanx.

    P.S. The check engine light stays on no matter how long the ignition stays on. If memory serves correctly, shouldn't it go out after a few.....?

      if the CEL is on, check the fuse inside the car for the ecu....i did that today and mine stayed on forever and the batter light went out and it wouldnt start....its worht a shot.

      diagnose it though....
      What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

      You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

        Hi! I am new here. My car has been dead for awhile dont know whats wrong with it at all. Checked the main relay and it works, checked the fuel pump and it works. It cranks but does not start. Also checked the ignition coil,spark plugs/wires. Would love to see it running again. I transplanted a JDM motor with 50 k miles on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks in advance.

          Check your distributor!

            my cars doing this now also....
            i checked everything.

            right before it started do this it ran a code of 16 (injectors) but now it runs no code. the car cranks but wont start. could it be teh injectors not firing?

              got something
              try changing the plugs (spark)
              i tried everything in teh haynes manual in teh troubleshooting section fot car rotates but wont start. except the plugs. i changed them today and the car started right up i was like SHIT!!!
              hell yeah.

              i tried the injectors, wires, distri.
              rotor, fuel pump, FPR, and all it was was the plugs
