Well it turns out I have a mysterious oil leak, I left my car in my backyard and there was a puddle under it 24 hrs later, which could have possibly been that I spilled a little on the block while I was pouring oil in, so the residue dripped off. But the oil level also returned to the very tip of the dipstick.
So I have been avoiding using it, but today I put in another qt of synthetic blend mobil clean 7500 10w30. I put in a qt a few mins ago, ran it for ten mins while looking underneath, nothing. I'm gonna leave it to sit for an hr, and see how much oil I find under it, hopefully none, but thats a miracle straight from our savior.
I have done the valve cover gasket, and upper tube seals. I think my lower may be ready to be done (1 was completely dry, 2 had very little oil, 3 had the most-but still not much, 4 had the same amount as 2.) I was wondering how hard the cam seal would be, and curious if I were overlooking any. I pray to god its not the rear main, or else it will stay like that till I can afford to swap in a single vtec (in about a month).
