My car is overheating I change the fan switch termestat, bleed the system it only does this if I am driving hard and then the gauge will stay high for a min while I am sitting at the light, then go back down being normal. What the hell is going on man

Are you puffing any white smoke? are here any leaks from the front or back of the moor coming out of the cooling system period, Does your radiator have any leaks . When the car is cool let the car run with the heater on full blast then top it off with coolant. -
it could be a coolant temperature switch too on the side of the head.Comment

a friend of mine had some fluctuations on his gauge also. he found out later on that the one causing this trouble was some corrosion on the water pump area. taking it off and putting a new one did the trick.Comment
