i have a 1993 accord lx manual and i noticed in my friends 1993 accord ex that he can get his car all the way up to 8000 rpm, unlike mine that i can only get to 6500 rpm because of the rev limiter. could i swap out my ecu for an ex's (a pt6 i think its called) without any problems? i am planning on getting the f22a6 intake manifold also.

agreed. 8000K will mean a quick death to your engine. would unhooking the tachometer wire from the ignitor do the trick? other than that, the only thing I can think is that your friend's ECU is busted.

yeah i definatly agree on his engine dying very soon. he takes it to 8000 every shift even daily driving for like the past month the thing has 240,000 miles on it. i just wanted that feature so that i could if i wanted to for shits and giggles. he has only had that car for about a month...perfetly fine then....and now it starting to really smoke... his valves are so fuckin fried.Comment
