    Prothane Motor Mount Inserts

I bought the Prothane Motor Mount Inserts, but they came with no instructions whatsoever. They are for the rear motor mounts. Just wondering if anyone else has these and has any tips on installing. (Haven't looked into it too much cause it's cold as shit here now) If anyone can help me at all, it would be much appreciated.

Uhm. Remove enough stuff to allow you to install the insert. Then reassemble.

It may be easiest to just remove the rear crossbeam to get to that mount. If it is, well, have fun.

That sounds like fun. I'll probably just end up waiting until spring to mess with it. Too damn cold.

My initial reaction to say that if you support the motor you may be able to unbolt the entire rear mount bracket and move it just enough to get the insert in there. You're sure this insert is for the rear mount and not the front mount (torque mount)? If I remeber right I got the Energy Suspension insert which is spec'd for torque mount. I emailed them to verify this. I can't figure out whether the Prothane insert is for the same mount.

EDIT: Just checked so it is for the rear. Makes me wonder if mine was meant for the rear mount as well....

the only thing i've ever found is one for the rear. I need them all!!! But mine came from prothane also and its two inserts and u do have to take out the motor mount itself...i wish i could have documented it but i didn't have a digi cam at the time
