    removing stubborn header bolts

    how have other people done it? mainly talking the bolts connecting to the rear pipe section after the flex pipe, those 3 in a triangle pattern?? mine are rusted as hell and was just wondering different methods b4 i break out the impact wrench . . .thx for any input guys!

    yea i would say use some penetrating oil, wd-40 works wonders. autozone or pep boys should have some stuff real cheap. spray it on and let it work for a few hours then try again, do this 3 times.

      tried so stuff that was supposed to work, but didnt really do the job. bolts are not fused, just look rusted, lol

        PB blaster!!..spray it on and be gone!...or get a nice 2 foot wrench, great alternate to the impact. lol

          actually tried PB Blaster, is there something im missing, like a special way to do it or what?? LOL, i just wanna put on my headers and itll be so easy once i get these bolts off . . .

            well heat works well. heat up those bolts so they expand....get them glowing cherry red and than twist those fuckers off they will def break lose after that....just be careful not to burn yourself.

              ^^PB BLASTER FOR SURE!^^ soak those bolts up in that stuff let it sit for a while then have at it!! should come off then!! best of luck!!

                  heat man. gotta get them red when they're rusted and twist them out. PB blaster just makes them look wet when they're that bad.
