To do it the right way, you really need to take the head off and hone the cyl. walls. Then use a micrometer to make sure they are perfectly round and even all the way through. Then you need the right ring installer to get the piston rings on without damaging them. You also need a press to get the wrist pins in properly. You can always go ghetto and not do any of this and hammer the wrist pins in and shit like that, but it won't last you but maybe a year or so. Do it the right way and it'll last you for years and years. I wouldn't say it's something you can do properly in your driveway.
