    different trannies?

okay, so i was looking at the transmission code on the two trannies i have and the one that came out of my car (90 EX) has like a dimensioins of the front pinion gear is 33X62X22

and the one that i got which came out of a 96-97 accord has a P2U5 tranny code and has the pinion bearing size of 38X65X22...which is larger.

im just wondering if there is any difference like driving wise, reliability or ccan it even hook up?

Your speedometer will be off about 5 MPH and you will notice taching a little higher in all the gears esp. 5th on the interstate. The P2U5 transmission is from an EX model which has a larger differential gear than the DX/LX. If the speedo thing really bugs you, get a 140 MPH guage from a 91-93 wagon and that should correct it. The gearing from the 94-97 transmissions is slightly improved over the 90-93... they seem to flow better for some reason...

DAMMIT! the studs for the tranny mounts are different...i didnt notice that until i got the tranny almost bolted w/ the engine!!! MAD!!!

idk how i am going to get the studs correcvtly. i might just bolt up the one stud that lines up and deal with it later.
