    a/c recharge

Okay everyone i have 4 cans of r134 how many do i need to put in if the system is completely drained?

the system holds 28-30 oz. you should really use a gauge when charging it though, they are cheap and safer. but if your system is totally empty chances are you have a leak.

refill your system using the a/c pressure gauge.

too little freon = warm a/c

right amount of freon = hace frio a/c

too much freon = can damage the condenser or blow up literally

h22sparkle- You have A/C in your cb7!? Your engine bay is so stripped and I thought that you didn't have A/C. Hmmm, I'll have to check the Tri-State meet pics again.

EDIT: Looked at pics of your car and I'd assume you're talking about another cb7, I think

When retrofitting to R134a only fill 85% of the amount you would fill with R12. I don't have my manual with me, so I don't know what the standard R12 fill up is, but if an earlier post is correct, fill it with about 24 ounces.
