    0-60 times?

What are good 0-60 times for a stock CB7 that has the manual tranny?

    Thanks!

lol well i would have to say after seeing a auto cb7 beat 2 manual cb7's at import wars lol i dunno. i would guess about 17 for manuals and 17.2 for auto's (stock of course). omg i swear no one knows how to shift

LOL those are def. 1/4 mile times...and depending on the clutch, the driver, and the model, CB's can run anywhere from 16's to 18's in the 1/4 mile. As far as 0-60 that's about 7.8-10+ sec...I think the 1/4 time and trap speed are better indicators of performance though...

          7.5 for a good driver in a 93 EX? I think that's reasonable on the street/on the dragstrip. I've seen CB7's chirp into 2nd...

haha i got 7.93 on my stock auto at New Englnad dragway. i will try to find the slip and post it up for ya. 10???? omg have u done a tune up in the past 4 years or know how to shift the manual. speaking of shifting, if anyone at Import Wars saw how bladly people shifted no wonder why there times were little on the high end. thumbs down to bad shifting. lol if u push it real hard u can easily get it that low. and that was for my auto. i haven't run it with my mods yet. hopefully in a week or two. and i will post the results. also depends on what engine and how well u take care of it. but i know what i can do with my engine so. also depends on the other modifications u have aka suspension mods, aerodynamics. even with stocker u can change times. i know when i lowered my cb7 i noticed a huge difference in acceleration.

your 0-60 could not of been in the 7's man.......your auto cb7 with mods should run high 9s at best.....if you have a paper proving u ran 7's than the calibration on the timing light was off. unless u have a nsaty swap wich u dont becuase i saw your car yesterday.i have seen wrx's do 6.4 so there noy way your doing 7's.

HAHAHA this thread should have been put somewhere else....is this really technical?? HAHAHAH crack me up....but i think everyone likes wishful thinking! Definately agree with the 9's-10's 0-60!! Especially with stock engines and not gutted er anything!! come on...when they made these cars do you realize that they were aiming towards the traditional "family sedan" haha! Im not trying to bash on anyones comments but.......just accept the fact that our cars stock! are not the best with 0-60 times and 1/4 times! LOL

                Anyways thats my $.02

well i know i run high 7's and i know a few others that run about where i run too so i guess i am not soo special. btw it is a f22a4, auto, 170,000, dropped 4in, high performance tires. but anyway, all i care is that i can run that and people around rochester know i can do that, if u guys can't then dunno what to say.

i am not saying being dropped that much will make that big of a difference i have no idea. but being lower does lower your 0-60 sec. play with air pressure around the car . ....aerodynamics are a beautiful thing when applied correctly. why did i run that time i have no idea but that is the best i have gotten. it may be a glitch on the dragway part but i did get 7.93! gltich or no glitch.
