Yo where does the 100# between the LX and EX come from?

ABS? Alloy wheels? The sunroof? I can't figure out where the extra weight comes from...I could understand maybe 50# tops, but 100? What's the deal?

i'm gonna guess, sway bars is one of the factors

and things like window Regulators, stuff like that adds up.

Ahh sway bars...true, didn't know the LX didn't have those. Doesn't the LX have power everything though? I thought the only differences were the sunroof, ABS, the front lip, the wheels, and the sway bars...again, closer to maybe 80# TOPS, not the 120+ listed on the master weight list...

lx is missing the rear sway, power all, no sunroof, no spoiler, stock wheels, some weight difference in the engine parts, pt3 vs pt6

LX has power everything. Cant really count Spoiler, because thats added
on afterwards. But little stuff here and there, ABS, Sunroof, Alloys,
heavier engine, Exhaust etc

what? okay guys... first off, alloy wheels are lighter than steel on the LX. The purpose for alloy wheels is to minimize unsprung weight... that's why they are used on the EX/SE... for performance.

As for the hundred pounds... it's quickly used up by:
ABS modulator
ABS pump
ABS computer
Glass sunroof
Sunroof Assembly
Sunroof motor
larger spare tire (so the wheel diameters match b/c of the ABS)
rear stabilizer bar and linkage
larger intake and exhaust manifolds
IAB system
Intake noise reduction system
larger dual A pipe
