cars cold = fast, cars hot = slow ??

yeah anyways so i have an h22 and when i first start up my car and drive it...it runs like a dream but as soon as it warms up it just like bogs down and is SUPER slow (beat by an f22)...could anybody explain this to me? note that my fuel pump has 190,000 miles on it and that when i stick my finger underneath my dizzy i get a finger soaked in oil...doesnt spray though. HELP!!!

think of it is as, jogging,
when you first start without strething you feel good but tired, cold and ready to go.
warm up, stretch, you feel better and run a little easier
get hott and you feel like crap and want to pass out.

Actually, engines run best at operating temperature...not too hot, not too cold.

Check your timming when the engine is hot.
Oil under the dizzy (distributor?) = bad dizzy O-ring.

My car's a friggin ROCKET when ambient temps are low and the coolant is cold. A friggin ROCKET I tell you...nothing moves like it.

yeah its the same story with honda engines lol
thats why i don't run a thermostat during the summer.
i install the thermostat on the f22 only by the end of september

I think some of you may be getting a little confused. Cars run best when ambient air temp is cool and the engine temp is fully warmed up to normal. This is the senario where engines make their most power.
