Does anyone know where i can find out what the vin numbers stand for? Like i know it has the cb7 part of it which explains the chassis and what not, but do any of the other numbers explain anything? does one digit represent interior color, one for body color, one for engine, etc. Is this even possible (for some reason i remember being able to do this on old mustangs), and if so does anyone know what each digit stands for?mine is like 1hgcb757 something something something. i just had to get new insurance and i was just wondering as it was fresh on my mind. thanks in advance.

Aight, ya dragged it outta me...this is according to a 91 Accord service manual...so some sh*t might not coincide.
1HGCB757
1HG = Honda of America (JHM = Honda in Japan) > both mine are
CB7 = Accord 2-door/4-door
5 = 4-door, 5-speed Manual
7 = EX-R w/ABS (4-door)
letter = model year (L=90, M=91, etc)
letter (A or C): A=Ohio factory, USA C=Sayama Factory, Japan
Serial # = last 6 digits
