Gauges...

brought 2 gauges over the weekend..
oil pressure and air/fuel ratio gauge.
both black face, didnt what to get white face because a lot of people have them, also order a dual pod (not pillar) to do a custom job on them.
gona put them where the glove compartment was (dont have dash, have all black carpet thru out the car)

Not to shut you down or anything, but they are not going to do you much good mounted so far away. Not very convenent for a quick glance.

and yes, brought them from pepboys for 32bux

but can anyone help me out in installing the oil gauge, the instruction arent that clear so ive been askig around.
if someone can just give me the step by step details on installing it

o and for far away, its not like im gona look at them every second while im driven.
there to look at to make sure everythings goin st8, and thats every now and then

no hole, i have no dash at all.
took the whole thing out and placed black carpet over it.
i have black carpet thru out the car and custom mad new spots for my clock and ac/heat switches (had to keep those)

as for instructions on those. im sure u can go to autometers website and compy the same for both im sure their instructions will help u out alot..

hwo exactly do you hook those up, i mean does it show whether or not the engine is breathing good or running rich/lean.. rite? .. do you just wire it to somthing existing that just sends the info to it ?

well for the air/fuel gauge u wire power-ground-lumination-and to the o2sensor

for the oil pressure im not sure what to do yet.

the fuel gauge tells u whether u r runing lean, ideal or ok, or rich.
on my FPR i have a gauge also but thats in psi form, but it still can tell me if im running lean or rich or just right, but i want one inside the car so i dont have to pop the hood to check.

Get a autometer daul pillar mount for it simple easy and painless more convenient for you bro. you really dont wanna look into the glove box just to see it. all it takes is some custom shaving hold it over a stove cause they make it only for a 94 but i made mine fit by myself

u all not catchn on.
i removed the dash.
in place of the dash i have black carpet
instead of the dash being there i have carpet, so its like a custom interior job, and for the door panels, i have carpet.
i cut a peice of carpet out the same size as teh door panels and placed them on the doors.
i get pics as soon as i clean it up.
the gauges wouldnt be inside of teh glove box because i have no glove box. only thing thats there is gauge cluster (speedometer and stuff)
steering wheel ofcorse, clock and ac/heating switches
i put the clock on top of the heat/ac switched.
ill get a pic this weekend
