My car idles fairly good like I'll here the cam hit a couple times then just a real slight miss will happen every couple of seconds when it's idling. I reset my ecu, checked my o2 sensor, spark plugs and wires and everything looked good but I still get a miss. I don't really know what else it could be and I would like to try to avoid taking it to the shop right now if it might be something else that's simple. Any ideas??

I too have the same problem. You really didn't notice it with the stock exhaust, but you can really hear with the tanabe on there. I have a new distributor cap, wires, and plugs. Also all the extra stuff he said. How much do you think a rotor is and how much of a hassle is it?
I have the h22/tranny still sitting at the shop waiting to go in every since august. I ran out of dough and don't want to put too much money in this engine.
I had to replace the thermostat and housing last week. And took the timing back alittle due to being so cold. It sounds like a damn diesel when its cold.

Just FYI I figured out what was wrong and I thought I should let everyone know for future reference. It wasn't my distributor, but it was ignition related. The gasket that goes around the spark plug hole somehow slipped a little bit and was leaking a small bit of oil which was causing the misfire. Easy fix though...
